Brand Solution Activation Specialist, North Asia, China

Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
Working closely with the LCS team, you will identify transformational business opportunities and develop plans with the respective pods. You will then drive solutions sales plan through leveraging on global best practice solutions and creation of new brand solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Drive transformational solution sales through leveraging of global best practice solutions and creation of new '1-to-many' solutions (incl. complementing local relevant content and competition).
  • Develop, leverage (global/ regional) and deploy Brand solutions with the objective to upscale sales teams to approach clients with large, multi-faceted media propositions.
  • Ensure competitive perspectives and differentiated value propositions generated through market-relevant insights. Engage with Marketing to drive relevant industry research and establish Brand metrics.
  • Represent Google Brand proposition both internally (e.g., senior leadership engagements , TGIF) and externally (e.g., customers, agencies, conferences).
Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred qualifications
  • Prior experience working in major brands with Advanced level of experience in brand marketing, competitive landscape, local market and other media (Print, TV & Outdoor)
  • Proven and deep brand building expertise and capabilities and possess certification for at least 1 area in Brand Solutions
  • Analytical acumen and strategic thought leadership, paired with agile mind set and can-do attitude
  • Ability to build compelling advertiser-focused solutions
  • Strong YouTube product expertise, understanding of core product features, how they fit into solutions, underlying product performance drivers
  • Fluency in English and a regional language will be advantageous

We help take product innovations and turn them into client solutions that enable our customers to get the most out of Google's advertising solutions. NPS team members ensure that we have the right commercial strategy for our products and bring product expertise to Sales.
