Strategic Partner Manager, Content Partnerships, Toronto, ON, Canada

As Manager, Canadian Content Partnerships, you will build and maintain strategic relationships with Canadian content partners across our Entertainment, Sports, Music and News verticals, including negotiating licensing and partnership agreements, launching new relationships, driving new business opportunities, resolving business issues, and analyzing and tracking key metrics to identify trends. You are comfortable working cross-functionally with colleagues across multiple disciplines to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users enjoy the best experience possible. 
 
 
You should also expect to handle day-to-day operations and partnership management with many of our partners, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, troubleshooting partner systems around reporting, content management and Content ID and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance – as well as potential performance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations and partner relationships, fielding and prioritizing incoming requests, troubleshooting partner systems around reporting, rights management, Content ID and creating periodic reports (external and internal) on partner performance.
  • Support new partners through launch process and liaise with YouTube product and technical support teams.
  • Define, analyze and communicate partner metrics and develop account plan presentations for YouTube management and partners.
Minimum qualifications
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of work experience, including related partner management or partner facing experience in TV/media or Internet.
  • Business development experience negotiating complex media or Internet agreements.
  • Analytical experience with spreadsheet analysis, public presentations, and data management.
Preferred qualifications
  • MBA or JD.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid and collaborative environment.
