Operations Staffing Manager USA

You're also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to make our hiring process smarter and more efficient.
You work closely with the executive management team to develop recruiting strategies. You prioritize team resources and manage performance metrics to achieve hiring targets and optimize client and candidate experience.
Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for ensuring achievement of global hiring targets for HWOps, DCOps, and NetOps teams.
  • Manage a team of leads and recruiters based in Mountain View and New York, responsible for achieving NA hiring for Operations. Establish metrics, manage performance, and drive productivity improvements.
  • Work closely with respective Operations VPs, hiring stakeholders and finance to understand headcount needs and ensure headcount is captured accurately in Google’s tools. Help provide further breakdown of all roles and track changes.
  • Liaise with staffing partners to drive pipeline to hiring managers, including regional, channels, and horizontals teams. Partner with diversity channels, programs and HR business partners to ensure diversity goals are met.
  • Influence and drive engineering engagement through lead generation programs and other innovative methods and analyze staffing partner results to anticipate downstream issues and help course correct.
Minimum qualifications
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years recruiting experience in an executive search firm or corporate environment, executing a variety of talent searches.
  • Experience managing a team of 10 members.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting/sourcing, or experience owning a function of similar scope, and including experience managing a team and client groups.
  • Strong track record of solving complex problems and delivering significant impact as a manager.
  • Strong domain knowledge and expertise in Software Engineering recruiting.
  • Ability to drive efforts and projects through influence, relationships, and broad knowledge base.
  • Proven ability to develop employees and maximize individual and team performance while maintaining a fun working environment.
  • Demonstrated personal accountability, integrity, credibility and is a role model for others.
